A peek inside the February Juice Box Wine Subscription

How is it February already? Get your wine glasses ready at the ready…

Each month, we reveal the contents of our best-selling Juice Box ahead of the deliveries going out. Subscriptions can contain 3, 4 or 6 cans of wine, depending on your plan but today we are focussing on the 6-can box. Remember, our Juice Box is our ‘mixed’ wine subscription. It changes with the seasons and is the only box whose contents completely change every month.

So let’s kick things off by revealing the first canned wine featured in the February 6 can Juice Box wine subscription.

Quello Semi Sparkling White Wine

This wine has a special place in our hearts as it’s female-founded and one of the first canned wines to hit the shelves in the UK. It’s a naturally fermented, gently sparkling white wine produced with Trebbiano and Pagadebit grapes. Give this wine a swirl to smell the aromas of lemon, pears, honey-dew melon, brioche and newly baled hay. Cheers!

You can buy Quello Semi-Sparkling White Wine in 6-can packs which is equivalent of about 1.6 bottles of wine. Click here to shop Quello.

Canned Wine Co - Grüner Veltliner

A glass of Austrian wine is up next in this month’s wine subscription. It’s a mouth-watering white wine full of peach and green apple aromas with a hint of pepper spice, grapefruit and lime. It’s crisp with balanced acidity and is a lovely pale green in the glass.

You can buy Canned Wine Co Grüner in 6-can packs which is equivalent to 2 bottles of wine. Click here to shop Canned Wine Co.

Kiss of Wine Smooth

A sophisticated Chardonnay from limestone-rich soils in the Loire Valley. On the nose, there are soft citrus and floral aromas with hints of honey and fresh minerals. This French wine pairs well with goat’s cheese.

JOIY The Gryphon

JOIY are a brand new member of Brixton Wine Club and we think you’re going to love their range of canned wines. We’ve gone for their 2018 vintage Pinot Noir which is from Central Otago in New Zealand. Violets and cherries are the leading aromas of this delightful medium-bodied red wine. There are some herbal hints of thyme, too. Youthful and earthy.

This wine isn’t currently available in our online shop but we’ll update you as soon as it is.

The Liberator New Blood & Chocolate

A 61% Cabernet Sauvignon makes up the blood side of this wine, with the remaining 39% of Shiraz bringing the chocolate. This unusual blend is from the coast of South Africa and it is super smooth with dark fruits and spice.

You can buy The Liberator New Blood & Chocolate canned red wine in 6-can packs which is equivalent to 2 bottles of wine. Click here to shop.

First Crush Syrah

Onto our final wine of the month which is a 100% Syrah from Stellenbosch, South Africa. This red is full of vibrant red and dark berry fruits along with a lovely hint of pepper and spice. A great wine pairing for BBQs or with soft cheeses on a wintery cheeseboard.
