The March Juice Box, revealed.

If you wanted a sneaky peak of what’s in the 6 can Juice Box this month - look no further.

We’ve got 3 brand new brands showcased in the box this month. THREE! The world of canned wine continues to grow and we’re here for it. Remember, our Juice Box is our ‘mixed’ wine subscription. It changes with the seasons and is the only box whose contents completely change every month.

So let’s kick things off by revealing the first canned wine featured in the March 6 can Juice Box wine subscription.

Joiy - State of Grace Pinot Gris - a delightful white wine from New Zealand. This wine has aromas of rose petals, lychee and sandalwood. The palate offers a generous warmth and richness with a dry finish. This is a fairly full-bodied white wine.

Our next canned wine is a Brixton Wine Club favourite from Kiss of Wine. It’s called Crisp, which perfectly sums up what to expect from this wine. It’s a classy Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley in France. On the nose you’ll get floral fragrances and a hint of quince. On the palate it’s light with a mineral and, you guessed it, crisp finish.

One last white wine for this month - and it’s a good one. It’s a South African Albariño which is a very uncommon phrase to say in wine! Albariño wines are usually grown in Portugal but this one hails from further afield - on the coast of South Africa. It’s very citrusy on the nose with hints of stone fruits, too. The acidity is fresh with a maritime, saline note. This wine pairs really well with seafood which is indicated on the fun can artwork.

Seeing as it’s March and Spring should have sprung.. we thought it was time to get our rosé on. This particular rosé is from the Pay’s D’oc in France and is 100% Grenache. On the nose there’s clementine, wild strawberries and butterscotch. The palate has a grapefruit-like acidity with a warm, pepper spice on the finish.

Onto the reds for the month. This first canned red is a blend of Old Vine Trepat and Garnacha. Brand new to Brixton Wine Club, Can-Vi make organic, natural and biodynamic wines. This is a lively tipple packed with cherries, spice and a hint of tobacco leaf. It’s clean, full on with a great length. We think you’re going to love this wine.

Finally, another new canned wine brand joined the club this month and we wanted you all to try this special red. It’s a blend of the 2020 and 2021 vintages from an organic, old vine parcel from a small village in France. It has aromas of bright red fruit with a deep, rich earthiness. It’s medium-bodied and dry and perhaps our new favourite can.
